The Database Explorer Window displays the Database connections which have been previously created and provides functionality to add new connections and remove existing connections.

These connections can be used when adding a database component to the Liquid Data Mapper using the Data Connection Wizard.

Any connections which fail to connect, e.g. this might be due to the database been offline, are shown grayed out.

To create a new connection, you can click the 'Add New Connection' toolbar button or Right click and select 'Connect...'. This will display the Database Connection screen.

To remove a connection, you can click the 'Remove Database Connection' toolbar button or select an item and press the delete key.

The 'Refresh Database Connections' toolbar button will reload the connections, this is useful if the database schema has changed or if a database's state changes.
